Friday, March 30th – Book Blogger Retreat: If you could gather up a handful of book blogger friends to spend a weekend away talking books, where would you go? Tell us about it.

Being from Colorado, I thought this would be easy for me! Just rent a cabin up in the Rockies and have a blast! BUT… the more I thought about it, the more I changed my mind.

When I was a kid, I went to summer camp. I worked there after high school for a few years, and now (twelve years later) my kid sister works there too. You can rent out cabins in the off season and use their facilities, so I think I’d do that! It’s secluded, beautiful and you can have your choice of where to go and what to do! So you could do some of the fun stuff the camp offers (swimming, horses, lake, zipline, hiking) and spend plenty of time sitting around a campfire talking about books!

And for fun? Some photos:

Hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read, as a great way to find new book blogs!

Q: Do you read one book at a time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?

I am terrible at reading more than one book at a time. I typically have 1 audiobook (which I listen to while I clean the house, drive, workout, etc) 1 on my iPad (or 1 paper, but rarely both) and 1 on my phone for when I’m in line, waiting, etc.
