The thrilling conclusion to #1 bestselling Shiver trilogy from Maggie Stievater

In Maggie Stiefvater’s SHIVER, Grace and Sam found each other. In LINGER, they fought to be together. Now, in FOREVER, the stakes are even higher than before. Wolves are being hunted. Lives are being threatened. And love is harder and harder to hold on to as death comes closing in.

I read the first two books in Maggie Stiefvater’s Mercy Falls series earlier in the year and loved every moment of them, but got distracted before I had a chance to pick up the third and final book in the trilogy. However, once I got my hands on Forever, I couldn’t put it down!

As always, Stiefvater’s writing is phenomenal. This world that she has created, her version of the ever popular warewolf/shapeshifter story is absolutely fantastic. It will keep you turning the pages, wanting to see how the story unfolds. And the ending will definitely leave you both thrilled and frustrated – as should be with any great series.
For this third installment, we are switching back and forth between the four points of view – Sam, Grace, Isabelle and Cole. And the action in this third book, as the town of Mercy Falls begins a hunt for the wolves is much quicker and more involved than the previous two books. I also felt like I really got to know both Isabelle and Cole in this book, and could sympathize with them much more.
I did feel the ending left me wanting more, wanting to know the future of the wolves and of the individual relationships. It felt slightly unresolved.
Unfortunately, this is the third and final book in the series – and I loved every minute I spent in Mercy Falls. I look forward to reading more from Maggie Stiefvater in the future and highly recommend this trilogy to fans of the paranormal romance genre!

My reviews for the previous books in this series: Shiver, Linger
