In my Life
- I’m back from an extended blog break! I only intended for it to be two weeks, but my life really got crazy and I took some time away from blogging. I’m back, refreshed and ready to go another 11 months (and longer!)
- My daughter turned 4 last week!! So we’ve been busy with birthday celebrations and trying out our new toys (including an awesome new bike!)
- We live just south of Colorado Springs, and we don’t have cable, so my only real exposure to the world this past week has been the coverage of the Waldo Canyon Fire. Luckily, none of my friends had any property damage although a few were evacuated.
- You may have noticed, I have a new blog design!! I struggled with wanting a simple, yet fun header image – and Kristilyn over at Reading In Winter helped me out and created the fabulous header that I have now!! I cannot thank her enough, because I obviously love it!
New On My Shelves
I’m actually sharing the last two weeks of books! And while it seems like a lot – I hit up my local used bookstore and got lucky in finding some really good books for $2/each!! Plus, I used up a few audible credits. So it was a REALLY good week for me!
