This Week Off The Blog
I started a new project (as part of my 101 in 1001 project!) It’s Six Words a Day for Six Months. So far, I’m having a lot of fun with it.
Football has been the word of the week around here.
- First, the high school across the street from us won the annual Bell Game! (It was the 112th annual game, the oldest rivalry west of the Mississippi!) Where our neighborhood high school plays against a team across town, the winning team gets to ring this really old bell, and then keeps it at their school for the next year. It’s a HUGE deal here, the whole town shuts down for it.
- Then last night, my college team lost – it was pretty sad to watch. But Husker Game day at my house is ALWAYS a big deal.
- Finally, today is my 4 year olds second Flag Football game!!

When we were baking cookies, I told her to squish the dough with her fingers (they were animal cracckers!) and she gave me this look and told me it was gross!
Stacking My Shelf This Week
It’s a slow week for books – I am trying to limit myself, and I have enough waiting to read! (Library and otherwise!) So I only got one book, and it’s a library book…
