Book Review: The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen

My Thoughts
Sarah Addison Allen is the Queen of Magical Realism. I’m not sure what took me so long to pick up her books, but once I did? I was so glad that i was finally reading them.
The Peach Keeper is easily my favorite SAA book that I’ve read so far (Although I believe I have two more to read!). It’s a simple tale, which doesn’t focus on love, but on friendship. The love is just a tasty side treat!
Paxton and Willa are as different as can be, the Princess and the Joker. They’ve never been friends, although neither can really tell you why. But in the pages of this absolutely magical book, a shared history evolves along with a little bit of a mystery! These two girls are wonderful, both together and apart.
And men… Oh the men of Sarah Addison Allen. I fall in love every time I read her books. This time? My main love interest is Paxton’s brother Collin. Oh, how he is perfect. In every way! (Although Sebastian – Paxtons gay best friend? He’s pretty great too, for so many other reasons!)
I really can’t say much about this book without giving away the plot. But let me tell you this – it is a GREAT read, one that you won’t be able to put down once you start!
