Friday, April 20th – Book Blogger Influences: Has there been a particular book blogger who’s influenced what you read? Share with us a review/book blog that convinced you to pick up a certain book.

Geez – I’ll just make a list *lol*

  • Cyndi from Dog Eared and Bookmarked got me to read Touch by Jus Accardo. (Among other things! LOL!)
  • Jess from Gone with the Words convinced me to read Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher –Sure, I’d heard all about it before. But her review is what swayed me to read it.
  • Anna from Literary Exploration encouraged me to run out and buy Meg Cabot’s Abandon – although I must admit I haven’t read it yet… But I do have it, and I do plan on reading it… soon.
  • April from Good Books and Good Wine influences many of my reads, but she convinced me that Audio was the way to go with Delirium with her review.
  • Heidi at YA Bibliophile is another who has encouraged many of my reading options, especially A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness!

Hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read, as a great way to find new book blogs!

Q: Fight! Fight! If you could have two fictional characters battle it out (preferably from books), who would they be and who do you think would win?

This is a tough one! I’d do a team up!

I’d love to see Jane Jameson (along with Gabriel and Dick Chaney) from Molly Harper’s Jane Jameson Series against Sookie Stackhouse (and Eric and Bill) from Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire Series!

My money is on Jane and her crew – purely for their snarkiness!!
